Important Notice: Upcoming I-901 Changes
On Sunday, July 26,2015, the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Form I-901 will be updated to include applicant email address, a required field which will be collected at the time of payment. The new paper/web submission Form I-901 has also been updated to combine the First Name and Middle name fields, which will now be called Given Name.
The Student and Exchange Visitor Program will utilize the email address provided to send real-time payment information to students. Although students will no longer need to continually check www.fmjfee.com to confirm whether or not their payment has been processed, they will still need to visit the website to print the I-901 Payment Confirmation.
The new email address field is mandatory for all students who pay the I-901 Fee on or after July 26, 2015. As such, failure to provide an email address will prevent applicants from continuing the payment process.
